What we collect

AppIcons.co has no user accounts. When you choose an app, we store the search text, selected App Store application, storefront country, and timestamp so the service can operate and improve search quality.

Your five recently selected apps are stored only in your browser's local storage. They are not synced as a personal profile.

Analytics and security

We use Plausible Analytics and Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate usage and performance. Our rate limiter temporarily processes network information such as an IP address to prevent abuse; the application does not intentionally save that address in the search database.

Retention

Raw search events are retained for no longer than 12 months, unless a longer period is required to investigate abuse or comply with law. Aggregate, non-identifying statistics may be retained longer.

Third parties

Search requests use Apple's iTunes Search API. App artwork is loaded from Apple's CDN. Data is hosted with Supabase and the site is deployed with Vercel.

Your choices

You can clear local recent apps by clearing this site's browser storage. For questions or deletion requests, use the Contact & Takedown page.
